GDPR awareness
The European Union (EU) General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) added further responsibilities to the Data Protection Act 1998. All businesses that hold personal data must ensure they are aware of the new rules and must study the processes they currently have in place to ensure they comply with the law.
The Data Protection course is intended to help businesses and individuals comply with the vital principles of the UK’s Data Protection Act and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).It will also look at how data can be removed, processed and stored, as well as what the individual rights are surrounding their personal information.
